Alexander Robinson (b. ca. 1621; d. ?). Mariner.

Master's mate of the ship the ''Garland'' of London (Master: John Prestman).

Resided in 1651 in the parish of Saint Catherines near the Tower.

==Evidence from High Court of Admiralty==
Thirty year old Alexander Robinson deposed on July 17th 1651 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on interrogatories "On the behalfe of George Clarke of London merchant concerneing a losse in the shipp ''Garland'' of London".<ref>[[HCA 13/65 f.24v Annotate|HCA 13/65 f.24v]]</ref>

Alexander Robinson stated that the ''Garland'' departed London and went down to Gravesend, departing Gravesend on June 4th 1651 bound for Dublin in Ireland. Robinson listed the goods laden for the producent George Clarke at London. Off the Isle of Wight on June 8th 1651 the ship was surprised and taken by the ''Elizabeth ffrigott'' (Commander: Captaine John Skinner) and the ship and goods were carried to the island of Jersey and lost to their owners.<ref>[[HCA 13/65 f.25r Annotate|HCA 13/65 f.25r]]</ref>
