ffrancis Meed stated that the ship the ''Desire'' (Master: Henry Colquite) did not come within three quarters of a mile of the ship the ''Alexander'' at the Canaries. Moreover, the ''Desire'' caused no ropes to be cut or damage to be caused to the other ship.
