1. of Proceeding thitherward shee and her lading of goods aboard her

3. and by them Carryed as Prize to Grina in the Spanish
4. Dominions And saith shee was soe seized of off Lewes Ile; on
5. the back side of Scotland on or about the 5:th of August last
6. The Premisses hee deposeth being a fforemast man of, and
7. aboard the said ship at the time of the seizure, and sawe
8. the Premisses acted and done as aforesaid.
9. To the 3:d and 4:th Interrogatories hee saith ˹hee well knoweth˺ the said John Broughton and

16. ships Stock (but howe much hee knoweth not) And saith
17. they ˹said goods˺ were bought by the said John Abbot at Carricke^vegus
18. and there Laden aboard the said shipp, to becarryed to
19. Drunton aforesaid, and there to be sold upon and for
20. the account of the said Broughton and Abbott and Company and
21. every one ˹of the ships owners˺ was to have had according to theire parts in the
22. ship as aforesaid. And that the said Broughton was owner
23. of five sixteenth parts, and the said Abbot of six 16th parts
24. of the said ship and of her tackle and furniture (as
25. by the bills of Sale which this deponent hath seene appeareth)
26. at the time of the said seizure, Which Parts of the said
27. Shipp and Lading, were and are Utterly lost to the said ˹John Broughton and˺
28. John Abbot by meanes of the surprizall aforesaid The
