IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Daniell Pennington Cittizen and ffishmonger of London being now sick and weake in body but of sound and perfect memory (Praysed be God for the same) and calling to mind the certainty of death, with the uncertainty of the tyme and hower thereof I Doe in order to my better Preparation thereunto make and declare this my present last will and Testament in manner and forme following (That is to say)

FFIRST and principally I comend my soule unto the hands of Almighty God that gave it trusting and asuredly beleiveing through the álone meritts of his sonne my Saviour Jesus Christ to obtaine pardon of my sinnes here and eternall glory in heaven hereafter And my Body I comitt to the earth to be decently interred att the discretion of my Executors hereafter named in hope of a glorious Resurrection.

And as toucheing that portion of Temporall Estate which God of his infinite mercy hath bestowed upon mee in this life I dispose thereof in manner and forme following (That is to say)

IMPRIMIS I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Goodyeare the sume of Twenty pounds in money to buy mourning for her husband her Selfe and Child and our maid servant to wear at my funerall And to my Sonne in Law William Holgate I give the like sume of Twenty pounds to buy mourning for himselfe his wife and Children and one Maid Servant to weare att my funerall

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Nephew and Godsonne Daniell Pennington the sume of Tenn pounds as a remembrance of my love

ITEM I doe will and desire my Executor to disburse and pay the sume of Tenn pounds for the binding and putting forth Apprentice of Thomas Bristoe Grandsonne of my sister Mary Robinson which I hereby give unto my Executo:rs for that purpose And I alsoe give unto the said Thomas Bristoe the sume of Tenn pounds in money to be paid him when he shall come out of and have served such Apprenticeship
