“IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the Seaventeenth day of June In the Yeare of our Lord God according to the Computation of the Church of England One Thousand Six Hundred Seaventy and ffower I William Parker of the City of London Merchant at present residing in the XXXX (Duchy??) Sleboda (or Eleboda) neere Moscow being sick in body but of good and perfect memory and stidfastness of mind..”

And now for the Seting of my temporall Estate and such Goods Chattells and debts as it hath pleased God far above my defects to bestow upon mee I doe order give and direct the same in manner and forme as shall be hereafter appointed expressed and declared as followeth

IMPRIMIS it is my will and desire that all iust and lawfull debtsthat I am indebted in or owe in right good conscience to any manner of person or persons whatsoever that it shall be well and truly contented and paid or ordered and ordained to be paid within convenient time after my decease by my Executors hereafter to be named and constituted that shallappeare to be due from mee by Bond note or accompt

ITEM all the overplus of my Estate be it moneys xxx by Bonds or otherwise by accompts Goods Chattells hereadter expressed in an Inventory and instrument under my hand and seale I bequeath unto my most deare and faithfull wife M:rs Cicilia Parker, and to my loving sonn and daughter That is to say unto Humphrey Parker and to Amey Parker

And becasue it hath pleased God by his overruling Providence to order things so that contrary to my expectations I have this long time been kept and stopt most uniustly in this strange contrey of Russland so farr distant from my loving wife and family in which process of time I have suffered much wrong and a very considerable Estate of mine is withheld and deteyned from mee Therefore I have thought it very necessary to leave a declaration thereof behind mee undermy hand and seale the which I doe avouch to be true in every part and in whole to be of xxxxx help and direction to my Executors after my decease to sue for and by right of Law to recover and receive all such sume or sumes debt or debts as to mee upon inst Right shall be adjudged due to to give acquittances and discharges upon such receipts being for the fulluse and behalfas is before expressed and for noe other intent or purpose whatsoever as will more plainely appeare as followeth

ITEM I doe by this my last Will and Testament ordaine and constitute my trusty and well beloved brother in Law S:r Humphrey Smith Knight and Barronett my true and lawfull Attorney committing to use Care and trust all and every of the particulars of this my last Will and Testament his uttermost power to use and doe for the recovering and fulfilling thereof according to its true intent and meaning And whereas my above named brother in Law Sir Humphrey Smith had for some years past my Letter of Attorney for to enable and impower him for to recover and receive all manner of sume or sumes that may of shall appertaine or belong unto my Estate or any part thereof either at home in England or elsewhere abroad beyond the seas These are further to confirme the same being for the full and absolute use and benefitt of my aforesaid deare wife and children and because this my loving and faithfull brother in Law is at so great a distance as that nothing at present can be communicated to him Therefore upon good and due consideration of I doe hereby substitute and order my faithfull and very loving freind M:r Henry Hoyle of London merchant or his assignes for to have the disposall of my buryall and to receive and to take into Custody all such moneyes Goods Chattells Bookes Bonds and Bills of Debt as are hereunderneath in an Inventory declared and expressed out of which my ffunerall charge is to be disbursed, but the remainder thereof he is to remitt with what possible care can be over into England and there to cause the same to be delyvered unto my aforesaid brother in Law S:r Humphrey Smith for my deare wife and childrens use and for no other intent or meaning

Minister of the Hollande Couxxxxxx Tenn Rabbles (sic) after my departure for my funerall Sermon and committing my body to the Earth Per William Parker Witnesses present Joannes Brackburdell (?)
