Resident in parish of Saint Botolph Billingsgate in 1655.

J.C.Whitebrook (1910) states that "Simon Driver was Churchwarden of S. His seventeen year old daughter, Mary Driver, married Erasmus Cholmeley, a twenty-five year old brewer of Saint Olave Southwark. Simon Driver deposed on March 22nd 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on a libel on behalf of Tether in the case of "Tether against Bryan and shipp ''Julian''.<ref>[[HCA 13/70 f.299v Annotate|HCA 13/70 f.299v]]</ref>

"Symon Dryver", cooper, is mentioned in the deposition of XXX XXXX. Dryver, by order of the father of XXX the deponent, disposed of the remaining hogshead and a half of copperis and sold it for the account of Anthony Tether.<ref>[[HCA 13/71 f.234r Annotate|HCA 13/71 f.234r]]</ref>.
