  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

any account to this rendent of the same and
therefor this rendent did not after the said
ffletcher had soe got into her pay or disburse
any summe of money for the settinge or
furnishinge the said ship to sea. because hee
did neither know when or whether shee
went, and otherwise hee doth not conceave
hee is bound to set forth his title att the
suite of the said Bagnall who hath as hee
beleeveth noe interest all all therein but
shalbe readye clearly to deduce the same
if hee be thereunto lawfully required att
the instance of any one to whome hee is
by lawe bound soe to doe.

To the 4th hee answereth that soe soone
after the said ffletcher goeinge into the
said ship as aforesaid, as this rendent
could understand where the said
ship was, hee did cause a warrant to
bee taken out of this Court to arrest
the said ship
and did cause the said ship
to bee arrested by
virtue of the said warrant, which was
soe Executed uppon the said ship
as this rendent hath heard and beleiveth neare
Gravesend to which the said ffletcher
ought to have yeelde, all due obedience
as this rendent beleeveth, But the
said ffletcher did notwithstandinge
the said arrest soe made uppon the said
