The eighteenth day of March 1652 uppon the allegation on
the behalfe of the Claymers in this cause.

The Clayme of Danyell Brands and Jeronimo Snitger for theire}
Silver laden in the Shipp the Angell Michael whereof John Lowe is}
Master taken by Captaine John Bonner and Companie in the Marmaduke}
ffrigott whereof the said John Bonner is Captaine. Budd ffrancklyn}

produced and examined deposeth
as followeth videlicet.

To the first and 2 articles of the said allegation hee sayeth and deposeth That in or about the moneth of [?October]
last past he this deponent being with Master his mate or Steeresman of the Shipp the Angell
Michgel whereof John Lowe arlate was and is master was present aboard the said
Shipp being in the Bay of Cadiz arlate att which time of this deponents sight and certaine
knowledge in the Evening of a day hapening within the tyme arlate or thereabouts there were laden aboard the said shipp for the accompt and adventure of the foresaid
producents Daniel Brands and Jeronimo Snitger by the ffactors and agents of the said producents
whoe were then resident att Cadiz aforesaid twoe Barrs of Silver numbered 399:112: marked with the
first marke in the margent and fower packes of Silver No. 1. 2. 3. 4. marked with the second
marke in the markent and sealed up with the seals in the Bill of lading now shewed unto him but the weight thereof hee knoweth not All which [?Silver]
this deponent did helpe to Lade aboard the said Shipp and thereby knoweth the premisses
to be true and that the same were Laden as aforesaid for the accompt of the said producents
whose factors hee sayeth consigned the said Silver to be transported from Cadiz aforesaid to
Hamborowe arlate there to be [?delivered] to the forementioned Daniel Brands and Snitger the [?owners]
thereof or their assignes and further cannot depose saveing That the Bill of Lading arlate beinge [?shewn]
unto him this deponent hee sayeth that hee cannot of his owne knowledge depose any [?XXXX]
