  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

To the Crosse Interrogatories [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first he saith that he this Rendent was aboard the shipp Saint George
att the tyme of seizure and came aboard as a passenger in October 1652
att Cadiz.

To the 2d he saith he hath knowne the interrate Paulus Cobrisse by sight
about nine monethes, and by correspondencyes eight yeares or thereabouts
and hath knowne Pedro Navarr for about a year now past and Pedro
Calvo for 12 yeares past and saw the sayd Pedro Navarr and Pedro
Calvo in Company with ths deponent and John Martins aforesaid att Cadiz
the tyme interrate. and saith that Pedro Calvo took Pedro Navarro
aboard with him att the tyme of the lading the sayd moneyes and sylver
and further he cannot depose.

To the 4th he saith the sayd Paulus Cobrisse is a fflandrian an Inhabitant
of Bridges where by common repute he hath lived all his life
and Pedro Navarro and Pedro Calvo are Spaniards Inhabitants of Cadiz
where by common repute they have lived all their tyme. And further
he cannot depose.
