the seas did buy of the said John dell (this deponents then Master
(and lawfull Owner and possessor of them) the severall things and
provisions mentioned in the second schedule arlate for the
fitting and furnishing his sayd ship then to goe a second voyage
from the River of Thames to parts beyond the Seas and that the sayd
Thurston then bargained and agreed with the said John dell to pay
him for the same the severall prices in the second schedule
set downe and expressed amounting in the whole to thirty seaven pounds one shilling sixe pence sterling to which sayd second schedule this deponent
referreth him selfe And the premises hee the better knoweth
to be true for that hee was a servant to the sayd John dell when
the sayd goods in the sayd two schedules mentioned were
by the sayd Thurston at the tymes predeposed bought of the sayd John
dell and did at each of the tymes of the respective sales of the sayd
goods to the sayd Thurston, by the Command of his sayd Master
deliver and see delivered to the sayd Thurstons mariners or servants,
and others by him the sayd Thurston imployed to receave the same all the goods provisions
and things in the sayd two schedules specified, for the use of the sayd
ship who received them of this deponent all of them (except one bundle of match weighing about halfe a hundred weight)
which the gunner threw back and sayd to this deponent there was match enough
beside that bundle) And further hee cannot depose saving hee saith
the goods provisions and things mentioned in the sayd two schedules and
delivered as aforesaid to the sayd Thurstons Mariners and servants to the sayd
shipps use, were in and about the moneths of June and July 1651, and of May June
and July 1652 (at which tymes they were sold and delivered as aforesaid)
worth the severall summes of money severally mentioned in the
sayd two schedules, and goods and provisions of that quality and quantitie as
are expressed in the sayd schedules were then usually sold in London at the
rates in the sayd schedules expressed./

To the 10th article of the sayd libel hee saith that hee this deponent
since the delivery of the sayd goods and provisions hath heard his sayd Master
John dell demand of the sayd Thurston before his goeing to sea in the yeare 1652 money for the sayd goods and
provisions in the sayd schedules mentioned and the sayd Thurston told the sayd
John dell that hee would pay him for the sayd goods but whether
hee have paid for them or any part of them this deponent knoweth not And further
cannot depose/

To the 11th article of the sayd libel hee saith that the arlate John dell did about
