Transcription

knowledge of that which is by him predeposed, And further saith, That
the said severall provisions at the time of their sale and delivert as
aforesaid were usually sold at the severall rates and prices expressed in
the said schedule, which hee knoweth being by trade a fishmonger and
thereby well versed in and observing the Currant and selling price
of such like commodities or provisions. And further hee cannot depose

To the 4th hee referreth himself to the Registrie of this Court And
further cannot depose./

To the Interrogatories formerly administred in the
Cause of Birdsey against Beale, and now
repeated being on the file. No. 78:-/:-

To the first hee saith hee cometh to be a Wittnesse in this Cause at the
request of the said John Cooke this deponents Master to whom hee
hath no relation of kindred, and saith hee hath no share or interest in
the Cause in question, and that hee is of the age of about 25. yeares, and
well understandeth the danger of an oath. And further cannot depose./:-

To the second hee saith, That hee this rendent did himselfe deliver the
provisions by him predeposed as is aforesaid, And otherwise saving his
foregoing deposition negatively:-/

To the 3. hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof./:

To the 4th hee saith hee this rendent well knoweth the interrate William
Startute a Roapeseller dwelling neere the Custome house, And otherwise
negatively. And further cannot depose./

To the 5th hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof./
