To the Interrogatories/. [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatorie hee answereth negatively to every part thereof

To the second third fourth and 5th Interrogatories hee cannot depose.

To the 6th hee saith that the usuall rate for Customes due upon Tobaccoe[?es GUTTER]
growing upon English plantations in the partes beyond the seas is only a penny
per pound. And further cannot depose.

To the 7th and 8th Interrogatories saving his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee cannot
depose.

To the 9th hee cannot depose.

To the 10th saveing his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee cannot depose

To the 11. 12. and 13th Interrogatories hee saith hee cannot depose.

To the 14th hee saith that the damage interrogated did happen and was
done as he remembreth about the middle of Januaary 1652 And further
cannot depose//

To the 15th and 16th saving his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee
cannot depose

To the 17th hee cannot depose.

To the 18th Interrogatorie saving his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee
answereth negatively.

To the 19th hee answereth negatively, saying that hee never
knewe or heard of any such order of the Councell as is interrogated/

do Guarda Lupa aged 40 yeares or
thereabouts a Wittnesse sworne and
examined saith as followeth videlicet.

To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth, That in the moneths
of May June July, August September October November december and
January last past 1654:_ the arlate ffrancisco Lopez a Spaniard and a Subject
of the king of Spaine living at Oratavo in the Island of Teneriffe was and
at present is or ought to be true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors of One
hundred and thirty halfe Chests of sugars and of six hundred and Twenty
hides marked with the first marke in the margent, And that the arlate

said Island and Subject of the said kinge then also was and still ought

That one Asensio darangina Maderas also a Merchant dwelling at the said
Teneriffe and subject of his said Catholique Majestie then also was and now
is
