10. sworne and examined saith and deposeth as followeth. videlicet.
11. To the first article of the sayd Libell, This deponent saith he knoweth the arlate
12. Samuel Titsell and the shipp the Three Sisters, and saith that the sayd
13. Samuell Titsell for and during the tyme arlate was Commander of the sayd
14. shipp and had the Charge of her. And the arlate Alexander Hatchet
15. was commonly aććounted one of the Owners of the sayd shipp,. And otherwise
16. he saith he ćannot depose/
17. To the second article of the sayd allegation and to the Schedule therein mentioned now
18. shewne him dated October. 16. 1653. hee saith hee is well assured that in the
19. sayd moneth of October the arlate John Dell since deceased was lawfull
20. Owner of all and singular the goods and things in the sayd Schedule
21. mentioned, and that he or his servants or Agents did within the sayd
22. moneth of October deliver the same to the sayd Samuel Titsell ˹or his Agents˺
23. for the use of the sayd shipp Three Sisters, Rendring for occasion
24. thereof that soone after the death of the sayd John Dell he came to
25. live with and doe busines for the Plaintiff, and found the sayd goods
26. and things fairly entred in the shopp booke of the sayd John Dell
27. as delivered to the use aforesayd. And otherwise he ćannot depose.
28. To the third article of the sayd allegation he saith , that not long after the death
29. of the sayd John Dell she plaintiff the sayd Mary Dell being his
30. widdow became his Administratrix, as by the letters of Administration
31. which this deponent ˹saw˺ under the seale of the Court for Wills and Adminis=
32. tration did appeare. And otherwise he cannot depose.
33. To the fourth article of the sayd allegation, and the three Schedules therein
34. mentioned now shewne him. he saith that in the monethes arlate
35. the sayd Mary Dell was lawfull Owner and Proprietrix, and was lawfully
36. possessed of all and singular the goods things and provisions in the sayd
37. three Schedules mentioned and expressed, which hee knoweth for that
38. he then lived with her and did busines for her in her shopp and
39. warehowses, And otherwise saving his subsequent depositions
40. saith he cannot depose.
41. To the fifth article hee saith he is well assured for the reasons aforesayd
42. that the sayd goods mentioned in the sayd first Schedule were really delivered
43. to the sayd Captain Titsell or his Agents by the sayd John Dell or his
44. agents for the use aforesayd att the respective rates in the sayd schedule
45. mentioned amounting in the whole to sixty eight pounds sterling.
46. the same being accordingly entred in the books of the sayd John Dell
47. deceased. And otherwise hee ćannot depose.
48. To the sixth article of the sayd allegation and to the second third and fourth
49. Schedules thereunto {annex}ed and now shewne him he saith
