16. Mariner, aged about 25 yeares, a wittnes
17. produced, sworne and examined, he deposeth
18. as followeth videlicet
19. To the first article of the allegation and the schedule
20. therein mentioned he deposeth and saith that he was a
21. ffore Mast man in the arlate shipp the Peter of
22. Bristoll in his voyage from .. Bristoll to Rochell
23. and from there to the Barbados and ˹unto˺ Mevys and
24. thence to the Bermudoes, thence to kingsale in Ireland
25. and soe home againe to Bristoll, in which voyage the
26. said shipp and all her mariners (and especially the
27. Marriners nominated in the said schedule) were employed
28. seaventeene monthes, and that by many passages and
29. circumstances which occured in the sayd time of voyage
30. he the deponent did come to very well know that the arlate
31. Yeomans and Bowen were Owners (in the greatest part)
32. of both shipp and goods, for that the goods as well outward
33. as in ward bound were marked with their marks, being
34. a kind of knotted marke, having the cypher or characters
35. of N. Y. B., And he further deposeth that the
36. arlate Symonds did as Master of the sayd shipp for the
37. voyage arlate hire him this deponent at the rate of
38. 25 s: per month to goe in her as a common Seaman
39. and that he the deponent did get aboard her in king roade
40. nigh Bristoll and went in ˹her˺ from ... the first to the last
41. day of the voyage in question, wherby he well knoweth
42. all the persons mentioned in the schedule arlate, and he saith
43. that they were all in the sayd voyage, but he knoweth
44. not at what rates, And further he cannot depose.
45. To the second article he deposeth that the arlate Symonds
46. Master of the shipp Peter was out in the shipp Peter
47. (in the voyage in question) 17 months, and that therein he
48. behaved himselfe an honest and able ......... Master
49. And further he cannot depose.
50. To the third article he deposeth that he was out upon the
