  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

Transcription

and others aforesaid beinge spoe possessed of the said estate
for the purpose aforesaid did sell assigne make over
the said fourth part pf the said shippe unto the said
William [?Taddurian], and the said Crandley and
Throgmorton did then offer and undertake to give
securitye for the makinge good the said 4th part
of the said shippe to the said hannibal Vivian together
with the interest for the value of the same after the
value of six poundes per Centum whensoever this Court
shall adiudge the said 4th part to the said Vivian
and to secure the said Vivian from all manner of
hazard which shall be runne touchinge the said parte
in the meane tyme which said offer the saide
Vivian accepted, and at the petition of the said
Smith the Judges did decree the said shipp to be
appraised as she was at the tyme of the arrest
thereof in this behalf made by the said Vivian by
Commissioners to be named on both sides, and the
said Crandley and Throgmorton did then
likewise promise and undertake that upon payment
by the said Tiddiman unto them for the
said 4th part of the said shippe after the rate
of Twoe thousand and twoe hundred poundes
as he bought the same, they will secure him from
all arrests suites, troubles and molestations
whatsoever which shall at any tyme hereafter
happen or be brought against him touching the
said part which the said Tiddiman being then
present did accept./
