A busines of examination of witnesses
on the behalfe of Nicholas Opie}
Stephen Trevill and Richard Lobb}
Owners of the shipp the Walsingham}
of Plymouth whereof John Trenaman}
was master touching the seizure of the}
said shipp and lading by order of the}
King of Portugall ffrancklin}

Which day the said ffrancklin
appeared for the said Opie
and others aforesaid and made
himselfe party for them at whose
petition the Judges did decree all
and singular that have or pretend
to have any right title or interest
in the said shipp and lading by
reason of the said seizure or that
will take upon the defence and justification
of the said seizure to appeare in this place
upon munday the 20th day of this instant
month of March betweene the houres of 9
and twelve in the morning to see an allegation given
and witnesses produced and sworne on the behalfe of
the said Opie and others aforesaid touching the said
losse with intimation et cetera and a letter to be written to
the Portugall Ambassadour to intimate the premisses
unto him./.
