Which day the said dyer upon
the allegation by him in this cause
given and admitted produced as a
party principall Alderman Richard
Crandley whom the Judges [?receaved] and
administred an oath unto him to make a true
answeare thereunto and monished him to give in
the same the first Court day of the next tearme./.

the behalfe of Thomas hewett master}
of the shipp the Civill Society against}
all that will take upon the defence and}
justification of the seizure of certaine}
