Mathews, Albert, Sir Mathew and Lady Holworthy (?London, 1911)

- "Mr. ALBERT MATTHEWS exhibited photographs of por-
traits by Sir Peter Lely of Sir Matthew Holworthy and
Lady Holworthy, and a manuscript pedigree of the Hoi-
worthy family, stating that he was indebted for these to the
courtesy of Mr. Frederic M. K. Holworthy of Bromley, Kent,
England. The Lady Holworthy depicted was a daughter of

Henry Henley and the third wife of Sir Matthew Holworthy"[8]
  1. S:r Robert Henley kn:t. Probably Sir Robert Henly (alias Henley) (b. ?, d. ca. 1693), of Northington, Hampshire (PROB 11/413 Coker 1-46 Will of Sir Robert Henly or Henley of Northington, Hampshire 04 January 1693)
  2. John Gould. Identity unclear (See PROB 11/360 King 66-124 Will of John Gould of Clapham, Surrey 23 August 1679; PROB 11/428 Irby 166-203 Will of John Gould, Merchant of London 27 November 1695)
  3. Rob:t Burrow. Mathew Holworthy stated in his will: "ITEM I doe give and bequeath unto John Burrow All the debt he oweth unto me by his Acco:t And all my wearing apparell And All my house goods That are in the keeping of his Brother Robert Burrow...I doe also give unto him All their severall sumes of moneys oweing unto me severall Bonds of his Brother Thomas Burrow paid and furnished unto him by himselfe without and against my will and order And doe will that the said Bonds be delivered rather said John." John Burrow was one of three witnesses to the will, which was signed May 9th, 1677
  4. Nathaniell Crabb. Uncommon name. Possibly Nathaniell Crabb (b. ?, d. ca. 1697), silkthrowster, of London (PROB 11/436 Pyne 1-44 Will of Nathaniell Crabb, Silkthroster of London 03 February 1697)
