Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Twenty-six year old Robert Hall deposed on December 23rd 1653 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation in the cause of "The Keepers of the Libertie et cetera and Melvill and others against the shipp the Supply and Batson and others".[1]
The case concerned the bilging and subsequent weighing of the ship the Abraham (Master: James Leshly) in the River Thames.
