Transcription for the sayd passengers and servants And sfor the sayd passengers and servants And soe farr as hee this deponent<br /> could and did observe the arlate Jacob Moulson did not convert<br /> any of the sayd deales to his owne private use And further to this<br /> article hee cannot depose/ To the 8th and 9th articles hee saith hee being a passenger as afore=<br /> sayd knoweth that soe soone as the sayd Moulson had receaved<br /> his passengers aboard or within some smale tyme after, hee the sayd<br /> Moulson did in the moneth of September 1654 sett sayle from<br /> dublin with the sayd passengers on board, to goe for Virginia, but<br /> was by Contrary windes twice or thrice driven back, and<br /> about the beginning of October hee againe sett sayle from the<br /> Bay of dublin (whether hee had bin doe driven back) with his<br /> sayd shipp and passengers for Virginia, and saith that being<br /> put out to sea, the next morning after her putting out to sea<br /> (being about the fifth of October aforesayd) a great gale of winde happened<br /> which caused the sea to become very rough in soe much that the<br /> Boatswaine of the sayd shipp was by the violence of the sea<br /> washed over board and perished And further to those articles hee<br /> cannot depose./ To the 10th article hee saith that the sayd shipp Continueing her course<br /> for Virginia the sayd Captaine Moulson mett at sea with the shipp<br /> whereof the arlate Mr ffox was Master (the shipps name hee<br /> remembreth not) which shipp was alsoe bound for Virginia and saith that about a day or two after the<br /> meeting of the sayd two shipps with each other<br /> tyme hee certainly remembreth not for that hee kept not a Journall)<br /> but beleeveth it was about the beginning of November 1654)<br /> there happened a great storme at sea which continued for about<br /> the space of two or three dayes by meanes whereof the sayd Moulson<br /> and Company with her shipp the ''Unitie'' left the Company of the<br /> sayd Mr ffox his shipp and further hee cannot depose to this article<br /> of his owne certaine knowledge for that hee was not at Antegoa<br /> when the sayd ffox his shipp arrived, there, but heard at Saint<br /> Christophers (whether hee this deponent was then gone) that the sayd ffox did arive<br /> with his sayd shipp at Antegoa aforesayd And/ To the iith and 12th articles of the sayd allegation hee saith the sayd Moulson<br /> and Company of the ''Unitie'' did afterwards at sea discover a<br /> shipp which was called the ''hopefull Luke'' and<br /> spoke with the Company thereof at a distance and understood<br /> by them that they were bound for Yorke River in Virginia and<br /> kept company with them about three dayes and then lost their company<br /> and saith that after shee had lost the company of the ''hopefull<br /> ''Luke''any of the ''hopefull<br /> ''Luke''  +
