Biographical synthesis

William Bulkley (b. ca. 1614; d. ?). Merchant.

Resident in 1650 in the parish of Allhallows Barking.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Thirty-six year old William Bulkley deposed on April 20th 1650 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1]

Six years later there a further case appears in the High Court of Admiralty entitled "A busines of Ensurance provided by William Bulkley of London merchant concerning averidge in the Southampton Merchant. This is possibly the same man as in the 1650 deposition.[2]

One further year later, in 1657, there is a further case entitled "William Browning and Company owners of the Plaine Dealing against William Bulkley. Again this is possibly the same man as in the 1650 deposition.[3]
