Resident in 1654 in Shadwell.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Thirty-one year old William Essex deposed on August 30th 1654 in the High Couurt of Admiralty. He was examined "On the behalfe of Thomas Jones late masters mate of the James (Edmund Button master)."[1]
