I make bold to write you these few lines hopeing y:t they will find you safe at India in health, & in y:e Next place wee were troubled y:t it is o:r Misfortune y:e small token sent you was soo lost, but o:r good ffreind M:r Gerald Aungeir[1] being safe w:th you will reyoyce us as much more, And y:t you are soo loveing & kind ffreind to him as he writes you are, y:t you will continue y:r ffreindship to him, as you Intended, & I am psuade:d he will deserve it at yo:r hands & be a True & ffaithfull freind & serv:tto you I have onely Sent him á small box w:ch I direct to him, hopeing to find him att Surr:tt if not I have presum:d to desire yo:r ffav:r in y:e Conveighing of it where he is, itt being onely á Saddle w:th there Appertenances w:ch I hope will come Safe to hand, being under y:e custody of Cap:t Millett,[2] I pray excuse me, & I pray what ffav:r you can, to shew it to M:r Aungeir, & I will ever be obliged to you, & in ?Revebge y:t any thing I can heare serve you freely comm:d me who is & ever wilbe
