Yo:r welcome lre of y:e 30:th November I have rcvd w:chto ?thee great enjoyeing of all yo:r freinds speake your happy arrivall, I will not answer y:t lre now but deferr it untill y:e Comp:a sends theire pacquett overland; y:e Death of M:r Lambton is sadd, y:e more Considering his Badd Condition by ingadgem:ts y:e Comp:a are aboundantly satisfi:d w:th your proceedings y:e Continuance of w:ch is not to bee doubted, all yo:r freinds here in y:e Citty & Countrey are well.

The Bearer hereof M:r Jn: Swift[1] is very much yo:r serv:t, if you can pleasure him in ought , it will bee á gratefull & Charratable act towards him & very oblidgeing to him, (God forbids I should desire ought y:t may bee against y:e rules of y:e Comp:a) however S:r wherein you may Lawfully doo him a kindenesse lett it bee done w:th Chearefullnesse, I am Confident hee will deserve yo:r favour; God of heaven Bless you, to whoos protection I Comitt you & rest.
