Notes

  1. John Mascall mentioned the matter of a missing package due to William Goslin from the deceased Gibbon Goddard in his previous letter to Sir George Oxenden dated March 1665/66, from London (March 1665/66, Letter from John Mascall to Sir GO, London)
  2. Gibbon Goddard, ?factor at Surat, deceased before March 1665/66
  3. Streynsham Master was XXXX
  4. John Mascall wrote in his previous letter of "Kentish friends." Presumably Mascall, like Sir George Oxenden, was from Kent (March 1665/66, Letter from John Mascall to Sir GO, London)
