Transcription

To the third and fourth had saith and deposeth, That the producent
James Pinquett in the respective moneths arlate was and at present is
the tried and lawful Owner and Proprietor of the silver and moneys arlate
[?] of fourteene small peeces[?] of silver marked [?] the first
marked in the margent, And of two baggs of money, containing tath[?]
five hundred patarons or peeces of silver and baggs of moneys were laden
and putt on board of shipp the Morning Starr arlate whereof[?] this
deponent[?] was and is Master at Ladiz in Spain by the aforesaid
Mister[?] Janson de Yonge and David [?] for the apropox[?] attempt[?]
of the said James Pinquett, to be transpoorted in the said shipp [?]
Ostend or Dunquix so[?], and there to be delivered to the said [?]
or his corespondents[?] there for his rose[?] ammount and adventure. All[?]
which had [?], being Master of and aboard the said shipp at the
time of the lading of the said barrs of silver and baggs of money

lading to the intent and purpose as is preodeposed[?], as by the bills of

otherwise cannot depose.

To the fifth [?] saite[?] That at the time of the lading of the silver
and moneys predeposed hee[?] this deponent did signe and firme[?] to
thee bills of lading all of one [?] for the said barrs of silver and to
three other bills of lading of one [?] for the said two baggs of patarons[?]
which said bills of lading did signify and declare[?], that the said silver
and baggs of money were laden and to be delivered to and for the amount[?]
of the produrent[?] as is predeposed, two of which bills this deponent [?]
of the said lad[en?], and brought it aboard his said shipp together with
the moneys and plates predeposed, and left [?] of them[?] in the
hands of the [?] aforesaid. And of otherwise cannot depose.
To the fifth has saith, That the bills of lading [?]
and now showed onto him are two of the Originall bills of lading
so firmed[?] and signed with[?] this deponents proper handwriting, the [?]
