To the 1. 2. 3. 4 and 5th Interrogatories he saith that Gloyn Ollart and
Company Burghers of ffkushing were and are the lawfull owners of
the sayd shipp, which belongeth to fflushing, and tooke in her present
lading att Brouage in ffrance, and the same is about eight or
nyne hundred of salt and was consigned to be delivered
att haver de Grace for the Grand party of ffrance as he hath
heard: as for the consignatary or freight, or writings touching the
same he fr his part knoweth not: And further cannot depose.
To the 6. and 7th he saith the sayd shipp hath five gunnes, some musketts
and pikes, three Cables, three anchors and one warp anchor, a whole
suit of sayles, and provisions sufficient for the voyage which was
to end att havre de Grace whither the sayd shipp was bound.
To the 8. 9. and 10th he saith he is steersman of the sayd shipp
and came first aboard att fflushinge. And further referring
to his foregoeing depositions he cannot depose.
To the 11. 12. 13 and 14th he saith he knoweth nothing thereof

David Jacobson of Assendelft in holland mariner
steersman of the sayd shipp the Saint Michael aged
thirty yeares or thereabouts a witnes sworne and
examined deposeth and saith.
To the 1. 2. 3. 4. and 5th Interrogatories he saith that Cornelius Mos
and Company most of them being Burghers and Inhabitants of
Amsterdam (whereto the sayd shipp Saint Michael belongeth) were and are
the Owners of the sayd shipp. And that she tooke in her lading
being salt att Brouage in ffrance from whence she last came
and was bound therewith to havre de Grace in ffrance there
to make delivery thereof. but who did lade the sayd salt or for [?whose GUTTER]
accompt or att what rate or to whom to be dlivered, or what
writings were made for the same or instructions given for this voyage
he for his part knoweth not nor can further depose, saving that
there were delivered to him the deponent three or four letters
neere Saint Martins directed to some persons livinge in haver de
Grace, which letters this deponent knoweing the Contents of
them did upon the seizure of the sayd shipp by the English [?throwe GUTTER]
