The personall answeres of William [?Grand] made
to the positions of a pretended allegation given
against him on the behalfe of owen
dowrish as followeth videlicet.
To the fift (sic) position of the said pretended allegation he
answeareth and beleeveth that the arlate Thomas
haslewood did take noe tunnage in the shipp the
Neptune arlate, the voyage in question but the
goods of the said haslewood were laden aboard the
shipp upon account of the tunnage taken by one
Joshua Warren And otherwise he doth not beleeve
the said pretended position to be true in any part
thereof
To the sixt position of the said pretended allegation he
answeareth and beleeveth that the arlate William
Johnson did take noe tunnage at all in the shipp
arlate the voyage libellate And further he
referreth himselfe to the Charter party arlate And
otherwise he doth not beleeve the said pretended
position to be true in any part thereof.
To the seaventh position of the said pretended allegation
he answeareth and beleeveth that there were
brought home in the shipp arlate for the account
of the arlate William Johnson the voyage in
question foure Tonnes of goods and not above as hee beleeveth which goods were brought home upon account of the tunnage taken in
the said shipp for the said voyage by Mr Joshua
