Transcription

[?port], and comming some 18 leagues off Scilly was met with by a
Brest man of warr a frigot, which tooke her and her said lading
and was carrying the same for Breast, and in her way ran her
upon the Seames, and fearing shee would sinke, the company
of the frigot cutt her off from the frigot by which shee
was [?towed], and the company of the frigot that were put
aboard her and this deponent and such of the said shipp the
Maries company as were in her fearing her said sinking
betooke themselves to her boate for safeguard of their
lives and soe left the Mary adrift.
Abd afterwards as hee hath heard shee drove off to sea, and
was met with by a fflushinger and carried hence to
fflushing. And saith that when shee was soe abandoned
as aforesaid all her goods taken in at Malega as aforesaid
were aboard her savinge one [?peace] amd two barrells of
raisings which they of the frigot tooke from her. And
otherwise hee cannot depose.
