IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN The twelveth day of Aprill in the yere of our Lord god one Thousand six Hundred sixtie and one And in the Thirteenth yere of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of god King of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland defender of the faith x:r I James Moyer of London Merchant being weake in body but of perfect memory make and ordaine this my last will and testament as followeth

FFIRST I bequeath my soulre into the hands of Almighty god, And my body to the Earth to be decently buried att such place as I shall give order to my executors hereafter named, in hope of a joyfull resurrection at the last day when soule and body being untited XXXX then I shall through the merritts and by merritts of my blessed saviour Christ Hesus obtayne remission of my sinnes, and be made partaker of ever lasting life.

And concerning such estate as it hath pleased almighty god to blesse me withall in this world I give and bequeath the same in manner following

FIRST I give and bequeath all my coppihold ANd customarie messuages lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with thappurtenances in Eastwood or elsewhere in the County of Essex unto my lving brother Lawrence Moyer of Low Leighton in the Countie of Essex esquire for terme of his naturall life, And for that he hath noe child I give and bequeath the said messuages lands tenements and hereditaments with thappurtenances after the decease of my said brother Lawrence Moyer unto my Nephew Lawrence Moyer sonne of my brother Samuell Moyer and his heires forever

ITEM I give and bequeath to my loving mother M:rs Lydia Moyer the simme of two hundred pounds of lawfull English money to be paid within one yere next after my decease which my will and minde is my mother shall have the use & benefitt of dureing her life and after her decease I give and bequeath the said two hundred pounds unto my nephew Samuell Moyer the other sonne of my said
