"French Wars of Religion and Revolution destroyed a lot of material. For most of the period there isn’t an admiralty court for Le Havre anyway. Instead Rouen and Brittany would have dealt with most issues. Could be worth looking there but will be scarce. There was a conseil de la marine in Paris that also dealt with issues similar to the English Admiralty Courts." (Source: Benjamin Redding)
"If I recall correctly there's a few late 16c admiralty records from Le Havre in the archives départmentales in Rouen - I think I use a couple - and notarial records from 1570s. A few communal records as well survive pre-1600 related to trade." (Source: Jack Bouchard)
