George Morshed (b. ca. 1619; d. ?). Sailor.

Quatermaster of the ship the Welfare of Plymouth, which accompanied the Expedition of Plymouth (Master: George Mathewes) to Zant in Eastern Mediterranean

Resident in 1654 in Millbrooke near Plymouth.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Thirty-five year old George Morshed deposed on April 13th 1654 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1] He was examined ib an allegation "On the behalfe of Roger Hatton of London merchant concerning the losse of the shipp Expedition of Plimouth".[2]
