Examined upon the said Allegation:-

Richard Webbe of the parish of Lawrence Jury London
Merchant aged 26. yeares or thereabouts a Wittnesse
sworne and examined saith as followeth videlicet

To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth, That hee this
deponent hath knowne the arlate William Pym for about 4. yeares
last past, And saith the said Pym was and is an Englishman borne, and
commonly reputed and taken for a Native of Devonshire in England And
further hee cannot depose/

ample letter of Advise concerning the losse of the said William
Pym, dated the 4th of Aprill 1654: and written
by Thomas E[?iles] factor and agent at Saint Malo to and for this deponent and his friend
That by authority and Order from the Burgesses and others of Saint
Malo, the said William Pym, had sewerall goods wares and Merchandizes
