The Lord Protector et cetera concerning}
the shipp called the Switzer (as}
is sayd) of hamburgh}

Jacob Hinsey of hamborough
Mariner aged about 38 yeares
borne there, as he saith, being
sworne and examined he deposeth and saith
as followeth./

To the first Interrogatory ministred on the behalfe of his

interrate at the time of her seizure, and that he hath been
Master of her ever since January last was three yeares

ffrench and carryed thither, and that the Master of her at
the time she was taken by the french was a hamburger

shipp 25 men and boys at the time of her now seizure, And that
all the said shipps Company were hamburgers saving three
french boyes, And to the rest he answereth negatively./

To the fourth Interrogatory hee answereth and saith that the
shipp was at the time of her seizure interrate laden with the
severall goods, of the severall sorts and quantityes mentioned
in a Manifesto therof, which he now exhibeteth and wherunto
he referreth himselfe, And he saith that he doth not know of
any goods laden aboard the said shipp were of the growth
or manufacture of ffrance, or noe, And he further
answereth by vertue of his oath that the said Manifesto now
by him exhibited is true, and that it conteyneth all, and that
noe more or other goods were laden aboard her at Marsellis
