1. To the 2 and 3 Interrogatories hee saith that in the Accompt by this
2. deponent drawne up as aforesayd betweene the sayd Robert Barker and the sayd
3. Travers it was expressed that the sayd Robert had only paid to the sayd
4. Travers in money only one hundred seaventy pounds in liew of his the sayd
5. Roberts quarter part of the sayd Tobaccoes, but saith the XXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXX GUTTER
6. quarter part as by the sayd Account appeared the sayd Robert Barker now GUTTER
7. in all to pay the sayd Travers fower hundred fower score and two pounds or
8. thereabouts,) XXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXd but saith as is predeposed that the whole
9. Accompts being perfected it did ˹and doth˺ appeare the sayd Robert Barker was
10. and is indebted to the sayd Robert Barker inn the summe of sixe
11. hundred and odd pounds over and above the moneyes due tXXXX by him the
12. sayd Robert Barker to the sayd Travers for the sayd quarter part of
13. the sayd cargo of Tobacco And further hee cannot depose./

14. To the 4th hee saith hee this deponent hath seene ˹the Accompt Interrogate˺ and was the very person
15. who drew up the Accompts made betweene the Interrogate Travers and
16. Barker, and drew the same by according as the same was declared to him
17. by the sayd Travers and Robert Barker out of their bookes which they the GUTTER
18. each of them had at the tyme of makeing up the sayd Accompt, And to the
19. rest of the Interrogatories hee answereth negatively for that as is predeposed GUTTER
20. it did by the sayd Accompts appeare that the sayd Travers was indebted
21. to the sayd Robert Barker in sixe hundred and odd pounds./

22. To the 5th hee saith that hee this respondent being the Interrogate Robert
23. harvey did at the request of the sayd Travers and Robert Barker deceased GUTTER
24. perfect the Accompts betweene them the sayd Travers and Barker ˹in manner aforesayd˺ and
25. further hee cannot answere not knowing that the Interrogate Alderman GUTTER
26. Barker was ˹at˺ any tyme spoken to X to perfect the sayd Accompts or did
27. refuse soe to doe./

William Durham of Plimouth Mariner
late Master of the shipp called the
Noahs Arke sworne as aforesaid saith and
deposeth as followeth, videlicet.

40. To the first Interrogatorie hee saith hee well knew and was master of
41. the shipp the Noahs Arke in her laste voyage from Newfoundland
42. to Malaga and soe to Plimouth and afterwards, and is master of her
43. at present, And saith that shee went from Newfound land with
44. a cargo of fish in August last bound for Malaga, and there arived
45. and delivered the same for the account of the producents John Tivell of
46. London, Merchant and John Page of Plimouth Merchant owners of
47. the said shipp, which deliverie shee made in or about September last
48. and having soe delivered the same, shee at Malaga tooke in sixteene GUTTER
49. butts GUTTER
