1. To the third hee saith the care of goods after they are laden and
2. stowed belongeth to the Mates, boatswaine and all other the
3. shipps company as hee beleeveth, And further hee cannot answere/

4. To the 4th hee answereth negatively for his part And further
5. cannot answere saving his foregoing deposition/

6. To the 5th hee saith hee was not present at the tryall Interrogate,
7. and therefore knoweth nothing touching the matters Interrogate nor
8. can further answere thereto saving his foregoing deposition/
9. To the last Interrogatorie hee saith saving his foregoing deposition
10. hee cannot answere thereto otherwise then negatiuely for his part,
11. for that hee for his part offered noe violence nor gaue any
12. threatning language to any of the men hired by the sayd Tolty
13. to helpe to unlade the sayd shipp, nor sawe any other of the
14. sayd shipps Company offer any violence or giue any threat=
15. ning speeces to them./

In a businesse of Insurance.

The 30th of August 1656

John Bronme of Lyme Regis in the
County of Norfolke Mariner, aged 24
yeares or thereabouts sworne before the right
Honourable William Ferth Doctor of lawes (surrogate
in this behalfe duely appointed) and examined
vpon certain Interrogatories XXX on the
behalfe of the said Robert Browne, saith
and deposeth as followeth.

32. To the first Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth hee well knew
33. and was boatswaine of and was aboard the shipp the Starr interrogated
34. in her last trading voyage within and with out the XXX, and
35. thereby well knoweth that shee was in XXX and well being
36. on the first day of Iune 1655, at which time hee with XXX was at
37. Myier and was there bound for Lieme, and with this deponent
38. was then belonging to them in the qualitie aforesaid and had she bin re
39. from the tenth of March next preceding the said first of Iune 1655.
40. To the second hee saith that hee well knew the interrogated Robert
41. Browne XXX resident at Algier and saith that about
42. the end of March 1655 the said shipp the starr (having bin at the Ile
43. of Mat Mat weare Micant in XXX there laded XXX
44. in delivery from about the end of the said moneth of March till ˹about˺ the third
45. of Iune next following and then was wholly XXX, and with
