or thereabouts sworne and examined.

18. To the first article hee saith hee well knoweth the arlate Nathaniel
19. Hutchinson the time arlate to be master of the shipp the James arlate
20. and to have the command and government ˹of XX˺ so comm report

23. To the fourth hee saith that the said Nathaniel Hutchinson ˹in the yeere of 1657˺ tooke aboard
24. and brought from Zealand in his said shipp the voyage in question one
25. hundred and tenn barreles of herrings consigned to be delivered at thide
26. part to mr Abraham Veande Router of thid citire Merchant (since
27. deposed) for arrival of Paul Timmerman of Amsterdam, who afterwards
28. giving order to this deponent to receive the XXXX, hee this deponent
29. accordingly received the said one hundred and tenn barrells of herrings
30. of the said master, upon the said shipps arrivall here for the said Timmermans
31. account, and paid the said Hutchinson for freight, primmage, pilotagu
32. and other charges for the XXXX the time of twenty pounds or
33. thereabouts on or about the mare and twentieth of January 1656, and
34. hath the said masters acquisition for the XXXX under his hand.

37. To the first hee saith that the said herrings were by the bills of lading
38. (which thid deponent nowe hath with him) to be delivered to mr Abraham
39. de Couter or this assigner, without mentioning for release account,
40. and then this deponent by order as aforesaid and receaved them further said
41. Timmermans account and desposed them to this use. And otherwise
42. hee cannot another saving ˹as˺ aforesaid.

43. To the second hee saith the said bill of lading mentioneth the said
44. goods to be shipped by Christorfer Peterson, and hee the master signing
45. the bill, hee beleeveth the agreement XXXXX for freight (which so the
46. bill is thirtie shillings per tonne ˹with primary and aberage˺) was made with him the said master. And
47. them their deponent was not in Ireland at the said lading, not knoweth
48. further of this Interries then as aforesaid.
