3. Richard Mowsse X servant to henry Spurstowe of London
4. Merchant aged 18 yeares or thereabouts sworne as aforesaid
5. saith as followeth.

6. That the said henry Spurstwoe being one of the owners of the shipp
7. the Swann of London (Thomas Pitcher master) seized at Portaport
8. Port a port in Portugall by the king of Portugall or his offucers,
9. received from thense from mr Rowland hill amarchant there
10. resident on the 30th of december 1653. the accompt nowe left
11. by him for the information of the Commissioners, touching the said shipp
12. which this deponent hath had the custodieof ever since, and hath
13. entred the same in theX Invoice booke of the said mr Spurstowe

26. and exámined upon certaine Interrogatories
27. ministred on the behalfe of the owners
28. of the said shipp saith as followeth.

29. To the first ˹and second˺ Interrogatories hee saith and deposeth that hee well
30. knew the shipp the Successe whereof William Pearchia was master
31. and saith that Alderman Thomas Andrewes, Captaine Robert
32. Moulton, Edward and John Bushell; and company English
33. merchants were owners of the said shipp tackle and furniture and
34. for such commonly accompted; And saith that in the yeare 1650
35. (namely within the monthes of March, Aprill and May of that
36. yeare) was in the port of Lisbone let to freight by Charter
37. Partie to ˹XXXXX˺ certaine Portugall Merchants ˹of˺ called the companie
38. of the Bulse for a voyage to be made to the Brazeele in
39. in service of the said Portugall merchants, who laded her with
40. a cargo of goods and marchandizes ˹for their owne account˺ to the valew (in his estimation)
41. of tenn thousand pounds sterling and upwards, but ˹and saith that˺ the amount
42. of the freight ˹of and˺ for the said cargo hee saith hee knoweth not out and home
43. was 29 mil 500 Rés per tonne, every tonne containing 54 XXXXs, which
44. hee knoweth being then present at BXXXXXX ˹Lisbone˺ and ˹XXXXXX˺ XXXXXXXXXX
45. of the XXXX XXXX having seene the Charter partie for the said voyage
