4. To the 2ith and 22th articles of the sayd allegacon hee saith that hee being boatswaine
5. and aboard knoweth that the sayd Fudge (and the says Harbie with him) returned
6. in the Cesar from Nathalagoe back to Petras to take aboard the sayd shipp
7. the Currants of the Moreo, and this deponent there sawe diuers of the Petras
8. Currance XXX and a XXX into Caske in the warehouses of the late
9. Consull William Fowke, And saith that while the shipp Cesar lay there
10. hee knoweth that the articulate hamet Bashaw and Constantine a Greeke (whome
11. this deponent said formerly attend on the sayd Consul l as his seruants) came
12. and brought in boates to the side of the Cesar Currants brought from
13. the Gulphe articulate, and sawe Cato Turkes who ought the sayd Currants
14. coming th in the sayd boates did of this deponents sight and knowledge in
15. liew of their sayd Currants reacaue of the sayd Captaine Fudge or by his
16. order the said cheste of Coffins and nyne baggs of pepper there deposed, and
17. saith the sayd Turkes alsoe of this deponents sight and knowledge who helped to hand the sayd money ouer the side of the shipp Cesar carried away certaine money in bagges (but
18. how much or by whome paid to hee knoweth not) and therewith departed
19. And further to these artiles hee cannot depose./

20. To the 23 article of the sayd allegacion hee saith being boatswaine as
21. aforesayd and aboard) that hee knoweth that all the Currants aforesayd
22. brought from the Gulphe and laden aboard the shipp Cesar, were stoewed a
23. board the sayd shipp in caske made of the pipestaues and hoops and in other
24. casks ready made by all brought in the Cesar from Castle de Marr articulate,
25. and saith they were stoewd by the Company of the shipp and one or two more
26. sent from shoare from Petras to that purpose, but by whome send hee
27. knoweth not, and saith that hee knoweth for that hee was ashoare and see them in
28. the warehouses of the Consell saforesayd at Petras and XXX to such and sawe XXX of them
29. aboard the Cesar, that all the Curranceladen aboard the sayd shipp at
30. Petras (except the Currans which came from the Gulphe as aforesayd)
31. were brought in caske ready stowed out of the warehouses aforesayd,
32. and were got for the Accompt of the arlate Thomas Rowse and Francis Fowke as hee beleueth as well
33. And further to this article hee cannot depose/

34. To the 24th article hee saith that hee being as aforesayd boatswaine of
35. and aboard the Cesar hereby well knoweth that none of the Currance
36. laden aboard the sayd shipp were put out hereof until they were
37. discharged in the Riuer of Thames And further to this article hee cannot depose

38. To the 25th hee saith sauing his foreging deposition to which hee referreth
39. hee cannot more fully depose to this article./
