1. To the 8th sauing his foregoing deposition and answeres hee canot answere

3. To the 9th Interrogatorie hee cannot answere./
4. To the 10th Interrogatorie hee cannot answere. sauing hee saith there were Currance
5. laden aboard the Cesar s marked with two seuerall markes vizdelicet part of them
6. with the first marke in the margent and part with the second marke in
7. the margent./

8. To the 11th hee saith hee was nether at Petras or thereabouts where Curranc were gotten
9. F till this voyage in question And further to this Interrogatorie hee
10. cannot answere./

11. To the 12th Interrogatorie hee saith hee hath sauing his answere to the first
12. Interrogatorie hee cannot answere otherwise then that hee pddeth that hee first
13. saw Thomas Rowse and Francis Fowke XXX in London (but where hee
14. knoweth not) and that, since the voyage in question/

15. To the 13th hee saith hee hath knowne the Interrogate Clement Harbie only
16. since hee was taken aboard at Zant aforesayd after the death of the
17. sayd Consull William Fowke And further to this Interrogatorie
18. hee cannot answere/.

20. To the 15th hee saith the fower thousand dollars predeposed of laden at Genoa
21. aboard the Cesar were laden in fower bagges sealed up and hee sawe not the same sold
22. and saith hee sawe the other goods predeposed of vizt the hogges pipe staues Coffie
23. and pepper predeposed of laden And further further hee further sawe the Coffie
24. and pepper opened And further sauing his foregoing deposition hee
25. cannot answere./

26. To the 16th Interrogatorie sauing his foregoing deposition hee cannot
27. answere thereto otherwise than negatiuely for his part./

28. To the 10th Interrogatorie hee saith that of the Fower thousand dollars
29. predeposed to be put aboard the Cesar at Genoa in fower bagges sealed up. some of the
30. sayd baggs were receaued by the Consull William Fowke aforesayd at
31. Nathalagoe (sealed up as as hee beleaueth) this hee deposeth being one
32. who helpeth to carrie the same ashoare there for the sayd Consull XXX XXX
33. XXX XXX and saith that before the sayd 2000 dollars for XXX by the
34. sayd Consul, William Fowke at Nathalagoe this deponent sawe also
