Thomas Blackerby, London merchant & skinner

Thomas Blackerby was a skinner. In a fairly long commercial career, he was involved in trade with the East Indies and quite possibly with the Levant. He had property at or near Stowmarket, from whence he sent a second letter to Sir George Oxenden (March 11th, 1666/67).[1] He is reported to have been resident at Columbyne Hall of Stowupland, also known as Pawnsey Hall.[2] He died ca. 1687.
