I James Blatt Cittizen and Draper of London being at present Crazy
in Body But of good sound perfect and disposeing mind and memory

(Praysed be Almighty God for the same) Considering with mys elfe: the
great uncertainty of this Transitory life And that as nothing is more
certaine than death but nothing is more uncertaine than the tyme when
Doe (for prevention of all or any differences Disputes or Controversies on,
which may happen after my decease concerning my Estste) amke ordaine
publish and declare this my last will and Testament in manner following
(That is to say) First I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God
my onely maker and Creator hopeing assuredly through the alone meritts
of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ To be made partaker of
Everlasting happines And my body I Committ to the Earth from whence it
came To be decently buried But as frugally as may be by my Executors
hereafter named. And as touching such wordly goods and estate which
it hath pleased the Lord to blesse me me (sic) with and me a disposer of And
which I shall happen to dye possessed of or Interested in I doe gicve devise
settle and dispose of the same as followeth(That is to say) First I doe
will order and appoint That the Charges of my ffunerall The charges of
Proving this my will and of the appraysing Inventarying and Exhibiting
the Inventary of my Estate And all other Charges thereunto incident
together with all such debts and summes of money as I shall Justly owe or
be indebted att the tyme of my decease shalbe ffirst satisfied paid and allowed
And the residue and cleere Remainder of my goods Chattells and EWstate
whatsoever which then shalbe and remaine I doe give devise and be=
queath as followeth (That is to say) First: I doe give and bequeath
To my sonne William Blatt the summe of ffifteen hundred pounds of
lawfull money of England To be paid to him with the Interest and im=
[?pronement] of the same att his age of one and Twenty yeares if hee
shall live to attaine that age And in case of his decease before that tyme
Then I doe will and devise the same and every part thereof To my daughters
Elizabeth Blatt and Anna Blatt and the survivor of them Item I give
and bequeath To my said daughter Elizabeth Blatt the summe of one
Thousand pounds of like money in Liew discharge and full satisfaction
of all such part and share of my Estate as she by the Custome of London
or otherwise can may or ought to have or clayme.Item I give and
bequeath to my said daughter Anna Blatt the summe of one Thousand
pounds of like money to be paid to her with the Interest and impron
ment of the same within six months after the day of her marriage
or att her age of one and Twenty yeares if shee shall live to attaine that
age which shall ffirst happen In Liew discharge and full satisfaction
of all such part and share of my Estate as she by the Custom of London
or otherwise can may or ought to have or clayme And in case of her de=
cease before that tyme I doe will and devise the same and every part
thereof To my said sonne William Blatt and daughter Elizabeth Blatt
and the Survivor of them And my will and mind is That she my said
daughter Anna shall have and enjoy The one ffourth part of the Messu=
ages lands and Tenements known by the name of Say[XX] hall and Trotts
ying and being in the parish of Newton in the County of Suffolk accor
ding to the settlement by me and her late mother my wife made Item
I give and bequeath To my mother in Law Mrs Anne Gunton To my
sisters Elizabeth Edwards To Edward Cooke Salter James Onkes draper
Robert Conyers Thomas ffullen, James Blatt of Barking, John Blatt of

thers my ffirst wife deceased or that were given her by my late sonne James
Blatt deceased or that I have given or delivered to her Item I give and
bequeath to my said daughter Anna Blatt All such Rings, Jewells braceletts
