mariner aged about 40 sworne before Rowland
Jennings Surrogate to the right worshipfull Sir Henry Marten Knight
Judge of his Majesties highe Courte of the Admiralty being examined
uppon certaine Interrogatories ministred to him on the behalfe of
Peter Jones and Company saieth and deposeth as followeth/

To the first hee saith that hee this examinate did very well knowe
the interrate shippe called the Saint Andrewe and saieth that shee
was in the yeare 1636 sett out from this porte of London uppon a voyage for
Binney and Ginney and hee
came to knowe her in going forth master of her that voyage and
for that hee as present when the Scotch Ginney Company
bought her or caused her to bee bought, and shee was a fflemish
built shippe And more to this Interrogatory hee deposeth not/
