IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Thomas Tomlins of the Parish of Saint Leonard Bromley in the County of Midd Esquire being in perfect health of Bodie & of perfect and sound mind and memory and understanding considering with my self the certeinty of death and the frailty and uncerteinty of this life and being desirous to settle and dispose of such temporall Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to blesse mee with doe make ordeine publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following Ciz:t
FFIRST and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping and assuredly beleeving through the bitter death and passion and meritorious intercession of my deare Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sinnes and to inheritt everlasting life My Body Icommitt to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And whomesoever I have offended any wayes I doe earnestly desire to be foregiven of them And whomesoever have or hath any wayes offended mee I doe freely and fully forgive them as I doe wish to have my sinnes which are many great and greeXXX XXX forgiven mee

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my deare and loving wife Susanna Tomlins the summe of ffive Thowsand Pownds of like good and lawfull money of England And also the use and wearing of all my Goods and household stuff during her life only All which said Goods and household stuff I will and appoint shall be sold after the death of my said wife and the money thereby to be raised to be equally distributed and devided amongst my said children And I doe further gyve and bequeath unto my said Wyfe all my Jewells of diamonds and Pearle necklaces and Gold during her life as also such diamond Rings and others as shee did usually weare which I formerly gave her All which after her decease I will that they may be equally and as indifferently as may be distributed and devided amongst my said Three daughters And whereas I have by this my last Will and testament given and bequeathed unto my said sonn Thomas Tomlins the summe of Tenn Thowsand pownds Now my Will and Meaning is And I doe hereby declare and appoint that in case my said sonn Thomas Tomlins shall happen to dye and depart this life before he shall have atteyned to the age of One and Twenty yeares having no issue That then and in such case my Will and meaning is and I doe hereby direct and appoint that the said Tenn Thowsand Pownds shall be equally distributed and devided amongst my said Three daughters share and share alike and unto and amongst the survivors and survivor of them in case any of them shall happen to dye and depart this life
