Thomas Dawes of Shadwell in
the parish of Stepney Mariner where
he hath lived five yeares, aged
about 30ty yeares, a wittnes produced
and sworne in this cause, and being
examined deposeth as followeth.

To the first article of the Libell given on and admitted in this cause he deposeth and saith
that he this deponent was Masters Mate in the shipp the West India Merchant in a voyage
to Virginia in the yeare 1651 arlate and that then the
arlate John Perin was Owners and Proprietor of an
