ffowke and Companie Agents and ffactors to and for the said Alderman
ffrederick and Companie for their proper use and accompt, and after
such delivery this deponent tooke a receipt under the hande of the said
Norleigh and Constable for the said goods. And further hee cannot
depose./
To the 19th
To the 20th hee saith,That neither the said Norleigh and Constablenor
any other ffactor or factors to or for the said ffrederick and Companie did
ever shew or produce any order or authority from their Principalls, whereby
they did or could demannd or receive the said goods and Merchandizes
from the said George hughes, or this deponent his Purser, untill about the
moneth of September 1653. arlate, in which the said Norleigh and
Constable produced and shewed to this deponent at Legorne an Order
from the Commissioners for Indempnity here at London requiring the delivery of
the said goods, which order this deponent obeyed and accordingly delivered the [?commodities GUTTER]
as by him is predeposed. And further cannot depose./
To the 21th hee saith and deposeth, That the arlate William ffowke
Edward ffowke and Roger ffowke, all well knowne to this deponent
were and are brothers and all of them brothers to ffrancis ffowke one
of the parties in this Cause, and for such they were and are well knowne
and generally esteemed and reputed, And the said William Edward
and Roger ffowke were and are in Consortshipp togeather both at
