The Clayme of Peter Ceely Esquire for the shipp the}
Peter of Saint Ives and her tackle and furniture seized}

John Purefoy of Saint Ives in Cornwall Merchant
aged 23. yeares or thereabouts a Wittnes sworne and
examined./:

To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth, That hee
well knoweth the Vessell the Pieter arlate, and hath so knowne her for
about 18. moneths last ast, during which time the arlate Peter Ceely, and
Alexander Penhellick of holston in Cornewall were and at present ought
to bee the true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors of the said Vessell and
