16. the sayd Totty that if they were sayd servants soes escaped were
17. put upon the shipps Companyes Accompt to make satisfaction for
18. them hee and they told him they would not proceede on the voyage and
19. the sayd Totty answered that hee would make satisfactie satisfaction for them himselfe
20. for that hee had fower other servants on board who had noe master
21. which hee would depose of to the sayd Cooper if any trouble fif
22. arise about their estate or hee spake words to that effect, And
23. hee saith hee was present with the sayd Totty and sawe the arlate
24. Generall Sedgewick give the sayd Totty a noate under his hand GUTTER
25. for his discharge touching these servants expressing that they were
26. under his Command in the states service And further to this article
27. hee cannot depose./

Examined upon the allogation on the behalfe of the sayd
Huggerley and company./

Thomas Lindsey of Wapping in the parish of whitechappel
and County of Middlesex Mariner aged thirty yeares and
upwards a wittnesse sworne and examined saith and deposeth
as following videlicet./

41. To the first article of the sayd allogation hee saith that the arlate hugg XXXX GUTTER
42. and Company Mariners of the Edward and John did enter into whole XXXX GUTTER
43. for their service aboard the sayd shipp the seconf of June 1656 and cXXX GUTTER
44. on board in service thereof untill the two and twetieth day of July 1656
45. during that tyme did doe ˹such˺ service therein as was fitt and usuall for
46. to doe for preservation of the sayd shipp and her ladeing on board her and
47. the sayd Tottie disyne them to doe this ˹hee deposeth being one of her company.˺ And further hee cannot to this arle depose GUTTER

48. To the 2 hee saith that hee this deponent being one of the sayd shipp company GUTTER
49. the whole voyage in question knoweth that here were twenty sixe horses and XXXX GUTTER
