Note the presence of a William Love junior in Aleppo in 1674. He was presumably the son of William Love, Sir George Oxenden's opponent in the aftermath of the SVJS.

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the twenty fift (sic) day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand six hundred seaventie fower I Joseph Carew Resident in Aleppo being of sound and perfect memorie thankes be given to Almightie God and calling to remembrance the uncertainie Estate of this transitorie life Doe make constitute declare and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following

And first principallie I commende my Soule into the hands of Almightie God my Creator assuredly beleiving that I shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my sinnes and be saved by and through the pretious death and meritts of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Chirst Jesus and that my Soule with my Bodie at the Day of Resurrection shall rise againe in Christ with y:e

And now for the settling of my Estate and such Goods and Chattells and Debts as the Lord in his merrit hath sent mee I doe order give and dispose the same in manner and forme following
