Richardus Lapley parochia sancti Laurenty Pountney London Salter
aetatis 28 annorum aut circiter testis in hac parte productus
iuratus et examinatus./

Ad allegatonem ex parte dre Johannis Ward apud acta huis Curia quarto
die mens ffebruary instantis factam dicit et deponit That in or about the
moneth of ffebruarye Annor dom 1634. at Genoa, one Christopher ffurstinbacke
factor for the said John Ward did pay uinto John Headsand then commannder
of the shipp the delighte of London or to Samuel Thompson whom
the sayd Headstand broughte with him as assistant to him the sayd
Heeadsand in the receivinge therof, all the fraighte and primage due by bill of ladeinge
for the transportation of the goods of the sayd Warde from the
barr pf Saint Nicholas neere Archangell in Russia, to the porte of
Genoa aforesayd, which fraighte was soe payd in the house of
the sayd ffurstinbacke in the presence of this deponent who
was factor for the sayd Ward and others in the voyage in question. And
this he affirmeth uppon his oath to be true
